Space Station Silicon Valley is one of the top 5 best games on N64.

I think hearing about the game breaking glitch really put me off trying this game at the time.

Wish I had played this and Body Harvest.

Edit - Just looked this up and I was slightly wrong. Glitch is confined to the NTSC version apparently.

DK64 is still comfortably the best Donkey Kong game and a strong contender for best platformer ever.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

I mean it’s not the best platformer ever, but it’s still a pretty strong game

I figured I'd go ahead and post in this instead of other as I need to be more positive.

I'm not fan of Minecraft and Fortnite, but I'm glad people of all ages enjoy the games especially Minecraft where it offers lot of creativity opportunities for kids.

I prefer Animal Crossing City Folk to Wild World, and I even like Wild World. I have lot of good memories with City Folk and I really think it's honestly great game.

I get why people dislike 3D Sonic games, but I do really like the said games (save few, but not right thread for that!) I'd go far as to say Unleashed is among my favourite games.

Wii U is one of my favourite consoles, I really enjoyed everything about that including Miiverse.

Resident Evil 5 honestly is one of most fun games I've played, more so when playing in co-op.

While I won't go as far as to say it's amazing game, I still actually enjoyed Resident Evil 6. It also has amazing HUD system and the combat when it works actually feels fantastic. Plus it's nice to see Sherry again!

I don't mind DLC at all, in fact good bulk of them adds a lot to games I enjoy playing a lot.

Yup, much more up for this thread. :) Agreed about the Wii U! Also potentially agreed about DLC, with caveats - but Nintendo seems to be doing it about right. I’ll see if I can think of some more:

Wii Sports Resort was better than Wii Sports, which I still enjoyed. Mostly due to Motion+, which was a little bit of genius.

The SubSpace Emissary in Smash Bros. Brawl is, despite its flaws, the single best mode the series has ever had.

Animal Crossing New Horizons not having everything available from the start made it a much better paced and probably more enjoyable game than its forebears.

Breath of the Wild leaving the story scattered in fragments across the land for you to uncover is a point in its favour. It absolutely plays into the general feel of the game.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze has the best gaming soundtrack of all time.

Tingle is a fun enjoyable character.

Freshly Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland is a really good game

This is wrong because you lose the money and get nothing if you haggle too low which is an insane punishment.

The "punishment" for haggling too low should be that it bumps up the eventual price you pay.

EDIT: but Tingle is a great character and deserved better for his first titular game.

It does seem harsh, but then in my playthrough I never seemed to have too much or not enough money, so they must have balanced it well (I think they probably achieved that by ramping up both the prices and the money you make each area to make the last one seem trivial in comparison)

It has some really nice pixel art, has a fun world to discover (it's a weird Termina probably!), some fun, funny and memorable characters and moments, rewarding secrets, and I loved the final boss.

Building the homestead in AC3 is the best AC sidequest in the series. Getting to know all the villagers was like a frontier version of Animal Crossing and actually adds weight to the quests.

I was given AC3 for the Wii U as a birthday present. Traded it back in still in its cellophane. :slol:

Kinda sad I never picked Freshly Picked up, but Aay’s concern put me off a bit. I wasn’t so hot on the central haggling mechanic idea, very ‘Tingle’ though it is.

Speaking of the money-obsessed:

Wario World on the GameCube is a classic that deserves to be in the conversation of the machine’s best games.

While the Wario game for Wii U was obviously worse than the ‘Wares, Islands and Orbulon’s Pictionary-kinda thing made it worth the purchase price on their own.

Waluigi should not be a Smash Bros. character: being an Assist Trophy perfectly sums up where he is in the Nintendo pantheon. I’d love to see him get his own game, though - something as bizarre as Freshly Picked, possibly a small downloadable eShop title.

I got locked out of the homestead stuff on 360 so thought I'd try again in Switch. I still have no idea how to progress
