I'm starting Kingdom Come: Deliverance on Hardcore mode with every negative perk, so I'll let you know if that makes my top angry spot. :slol:

Up to now, I honestly can't remember. A lot of games have maddening sections or times - Star Wars: Battlefront in particular stands out to me at the moment.

I didn't think I got angry at games until Fall Guys released yesterday :x

Playing Resident Evil 7 has made me pretty angry. Hiding from people and having no idea if you're actually hidden then having to watch cut scenes again is so bad, the only one of these type of games I really enjoyed was Alien Isolation which worked almost flawlessly. This on the other hand is garbage.

Final level of Driver (the original first one on PS1) had me absolutely seething.

Angriest I have been was some UEFA Champions League game or something on the Dreamcast and there was a training level where you had to score 10 goals in a certain time limit. I was about 12 at the time and I can't even remember what it unlocked if you did it, or even why it was so important for me to do it.

I got so angry I kicked my bedroom door and put a hole in it. I absolutely gooseberry fool myself as my dad would have gone mental so I spent ages finding some posters I got from magazines and blue tack to cover it up. Those posters stayed up until I moved out aged 22!

The first level of Driver was enough for me. Still have the scar on my knuckles from punching the head board.

Both the tutorial and last level of Driver were ridiculously hard. After being stuck on the tutorial for a long time I flew through the rest of the game only to hit a brick wall on the final level, I don't think I ever did complete it.

Wot u on about m8, there's hardly any *stealth* stealth in RE7, it's all shooty shooty bang bang.

That game was badly designed from a visual standpoint. It's like a great big grainy mess.

RNG in games is a good source of anger. Played many Pokemon matches where a plan is just foiled by a random miss, crit, paralysis, burn, etc. And of course everyone can relate to the RNG in Mario Kart.

The problem with pokemon's RNG is that it has such a big impact, it can easily swing a match completely. RNG isn't that bad if a match in a game is long enough for the stats to average out but I think you'd have to repeat a lot of pokemon battles for that to happen.

I'm barely an hour into the game and on the second section of running and hiding from people.

Final level? To this day I have never gotten past the first level.

Once I’d finished it, I vaguely recall copying it to two memory cards JUST TO BE SURE.

Imagine a ‘training’ level starting a game off like that these days.

I don't really get angry as such, and I'm consistently a very calm person, but that final race against WizPig in Diddy Kong Racing was such an absolute butt-clenching, feather spitting, wall-punching, controller breaking unfair pile of steaming crap that I may have raised an eyebrow at it. Or two.

The absolute gooseberry fool.

At university I learnt that tapping accelerate gets you to a higher top speed than holding it

Absolutely game changing for the bosses

This is the kind of thing I need to get into my classes.

“Well students I know you came here to learn about the Watergate scandal but first, let’s talk about Diddy Kong Racing. If you’ll look at the slide behind me...”
