What is the best pilot/first episode ever?

plath wrote:friday night lights. maybe i'm just bewitched by the explosions in the sky music all over the episode but i think it does an amazing job of building up to the first match - in doing so demonstrating the importance of football to the town - and introducing you to the characters and feel of the show while it's at it.
