What now?

Anything to do with games at all.

Do you struggle to go back to a partially played game?

Videogaming isn't actually about playing games anyway.

It's about the thrill of anticipating releases and also the thrill of buying games you won't play.

Well that’s never happened.

Yeah I have loads of games that I have never even started so I don't think I ever have the "problem" of being forced to go back to a partially completed one.

Do you think you buy too many games?

PLAY | Persona 3 Reloaded [3h]
WATCH | Ted Lasso S3, HiJack S1, Red Dwarf S4, Dexter S2
RACE | Chew Valley 10k (June), GNR (Sept), Cardiff Half (Oct)

I don’t really buy any games. PS+, Games with Gold, EA Access and Gamepass give me more than I could ever finish.

I think I will experience this with Mario odyssey (possible spoilers for Mario Odyssey but it isn’t much of a secret there is a lot of post credit content).

Odyssey is a masterpiece – but finished the main game with lots of moons because I spent a lot of time polishing every inch of each kingdom (so I’m nearly at the next milestone of 500 moons) – post game there are more moons in the previous explored kingdom. I get it would be overwhelming if every moon for just accessible from the beginning but even though I love this game I’m not really motivated to revisit these kingdoms after spending so much time there and polishing so thoroughly on the first run.

After I beat the 500 moons level I think I will put this game down for a little while – but I really hope I have the inclination further down the line and revisit this game as I’m sure I’m missing out on lots of interesting / fun moons.

It is quite hard although i do usually end up finishing them, however theres quite a few on my ps4 I haven’t completed yet:

Killzone shadowfall - i think i am near the last 10% of the game, but stuck on a tough section where i keep getting killed.
Assassins creed black flag - my first digital ps4 title
Red dead redemption 2 - looks beautiful, but is boring and the controls just haven’t improved since gta 4.
Days gone - played a lot at the beginning and my interest waned soon after getting to the other side, for the second section of the story. This one i will complete.
Gta trilogy on ps4 - i always rebuy these games, but doubt i will recomplete them anytime soon. Would love to complete gta 3 again though as its my favourite.
