Not sure how I feel yet but it's got to happen at some point I just hope the construction sites aren't busy and this is what I been told by colleague that has been working all the way through this pandemic. At least I'll be driving into London and out on my own so no public transport.

Speaking to people on Monday and it sounds like traffic and work in general is ramping up in London. Apparently the Dartford tunnel was almost back to normal.

Been a strange week, I thought my company has been handling the Covid stuff well but they've learned that the industry in other parts of the country didn't shut down to the extent we have and suddenly all the managers are saying "well the guidelines only state to stay 2 metres apart where possible". In theory we can do lots of things on relative isolation but I'm not sure what message this sends. If people see others going to work or at work how many are going to assume things are back to normal?

Just on a Covid-19 call with my boss and he said he didn't think that working from home will finish until at least December, if not January.

Amusement under late capitalism is the prolongation of work.

Its looking the same for us, they are looking at moving some people back as some jobs it turns out dont work at home, and there are also some people that dont work well at home so they are going to bring those people back but well spaced and things.

They have also announced that we are going to get half of your yearly bonus un July to help with the extra costs people are getting due to everything rather than all of it next March which is nice.
