Should've mentioned earlier that within the next year I'm hoping to become a member of the Fire Service.

Absolutely sick off office jobs and want something genuinely different and interesting. After flicking through many options I settled on this. It's something I'd love to do and I figure I'll be making a difference and could be helping to save lives instead of sitting on a chair billing people for inordinate amounts of money.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

I was on GR waaaaaaay before the job. Hell, I was on GR before uni before the job. Hell... I'm in the job because of GR! I didn't announce it or anything but I thought everyone found out within a month of two of me getting the position.

HTML isn't a scripting language, it's markup. I do know the difference. In terms of actual languages (regardless of OO) I'm fluent in PHP, JS and Actionscript 3, so, in fact, I do have a bit of a jumpboard and an understanding of OO programming, however comparatively slight it may be compared to desktop-language behemoths.

Also, I know XNA is C# based, rather than C++. Did my research. Don't see how that conflicts with me intending to perhaps learn both rather than just one.

tl;dr don't be a dick.

I meant markup, but said scripting for some reason. It's all the same kettle of fish.

If you've got a time limit of 2 months you'll want to learn just one. I mean they are similar and learning one will help learn the other, but you're being a bit too ambitious.

If you know ActionScript I'd go onto C#, you're more likley to pick it up quickly without bothering with the boring crap you have to deal with in C++.

Get me a Liverpool shirt, red, long sleeved, with Carragher on the back.

Thanks.

And a pair of Adidas Predators, in the white/silver colour.

Thanks.
