I'm now 42 so am I old?

What's the age where you go from being young to being an old fart?

When you start acting your age is when you are officially old.

Or when you set aside a stick for the sole purpose of stirring paint.

It’s all downhill after 21.

Since the CD player broke in my car I’ve been listening to Radio 4 or Classic FM in the morning, better than some of the rubbish music I hear cycling through the rest of the channels

To answer the question I think its whenever you actually feel old, obviously once you hit 60+ you’re definitely on the older side but some days I feel old already, I’m only 27

I'd say mid 40's to 50 is classed as old these days. In five years time 60 will be the new "old". I think it depends on your health tbh. I see some 50 yr old's who look about 70 and can barely move, and some who go for runs etc.

One of my cousins recently turned 50 and he definitely fits into the latter category, he has fairly young kids though so I guess that's an incentive to stay fit and healthy.

I'd say 60, 40-59 is middle age.

My age is greater than Peter’s, but I’m younger than my brother was when he was 25.
