i really do love where i grew up
if i had to move tho it would probably be Italy, somewhere in the country but within a drive of a med-sized town for shopping etc.

I’d love to move back to the village I grew up in. But it’s way too expensive there now, I’d have no chance of ever affording it.

Quite happy where I am to be honest. Right by a major airport, 35 minutes from London on the train, 30 minutes from Brighton, 45 minutes from Bluewater and most importantly there's seemingly endless countryside in every direction within a 10 minute drive.

I have an idea that I'd like to move away from London. Somewhere quiet... but with shops, facilities and bus routes nearby. I don't have any plans or finances in place to support this, though.

In terms of the UK, I'm happy where I am. 5 minute drive to sea, 20 minute drive to Brighton, 1 hour to London/Portsmouth, south downs a 10 minute walk away and the added bonus of living in a new and therefore relatively quiet and tucked away neighbourhood that's hundreds of metres away from anything resembling traffic.

If I were to move outside of the UK, probably Canada.

Melbourne.

Went there 20yrs (!) ago and fell in love with the place. Once our parents pop off this mortal coil, and there’s nothing holding us back emotionally to this country, the wife, kids and I will be looking into moving out there asap

I was born in germany and really liked it there and on the few occasions since where Ive visited I really loved my time there

quite a large part of me has always wanted to go to another country away from family and all that gooseberry fool, just drop off the grid and live for myself and free from having to answer to the folks, but seems like a lot of hassle

We're looking for a cottage just outside the city. A wee village but by a train line for visitors but at least a field around us. I love Glasgow and especially where we are at the moment (hispter mothafuckers) but I want space and that's not gunna happen in a tenement on a £150k mortgage.

I like where I am, my job is right on my doorstep, it’s about a 90 min drive into London which isn’t that bad. Got the seaside close by, lots of fields and parks about too!

All things considered (okay, basically just proximity to family, which is the most important thing to me) I am where I want to be right now.

I moved out of Birmingham city centre just over a year ago and there is a hell of a lot I still miss about it. I still work in the city centre and the decrease to the quality of my life as a result of the now required train commute has been keenly felt.

That aside, just being around/within everything in a city that size is something I will always miss. I really dislike that I am now a 'last train home wanker' on nights out or just for drinks after work.

A leafy London suburb, with no immediate neighbours, air con, and easy access to the underground.

I'd move back to Melbourne in a heartbeat. Lived there for a year in 2014 and it's probably one of my favourite places in the world. It'd probably be my choice too.

It's just a shame the immigration system in Aus is one of the harshest in the world, and getting worse all the time.

I have always been wonderlust and have never really seen myself as the sort that would settle down in one area. I am really lucky that my job involves me travelling around EMEAR so I get to visit some cool places.

My immediate plan is to move to London to avoid a 2hr commute and after 2 years travelling with work I might get an i idea of where to go next. That being said with Brexit being a high probably, my company could move to the Netherlands to (re) establish its EU headquarters, so I might end up over there.

I'd like to live in the Peak District or somewhere on the Great Lakes in Canada.

Both seem like ultra relaxing places where you can get gentle exercise and just enjoy a rather slow and simple lifestyle. Lovely.

I wouldn't mind somewhere like Keswick, tbh, if I had a job capable of sustaining me there.
