I need some for my event I'm doing. Nothing fancy £40 or so...Can I take an Predator pair with that!!!

You can get the 'fake'/budget Pred's for that yeah. They're pretty cool still.

Nah this will sound silly - they're just not as 'good'. Think Tesco baked beans vs Tesco value baked beans. I don't think they have the rubbery-grippy bits and aren't as light (etc).

I was going to go for the top of the range preds (£130) but I honestly don't think I'd notice the benefits.
