That's the badger!

I don't game any more and haven't done for years, so tend to spend a bit more time with bases and the like.

These two (as with a few above) are also some older ones I did last time I was painting, (about 4-5 years or so ago). I've got a some new figures about to go under the brush, so best get cracking!

Some info on Warhammer Quest: Blackstone Fortress -
Around the Blackstone Fortress lies a midden of shattered fleets – the graveyards of those foolish enough to try to take this ancient citadel by force. From the ruins of these failed ventures came a space station – a waypoint for those looking to venture into the fortress themselves. Enter Precipice:

Who’s that talking in the video? That’d be none other than Rogue Trader Janus Draik – an intrepid explorer drawn to the Blackstone Fortress in search of glory. He’s just one of the Explorers you’ll be able to use in the game – and but one of the incredible models from the set we’ll be revealing this week…

Great mini, excited to see the rest!

Something completely new...

The Blackstone Fortress itself is a a terrifying labyrinth. Corridors shift, new paths open and close – and some vast and terrible sentience stirs…

The Blackstone Fortress is more than just a backdrop to your adventures in Warhammer Quest, but a participant in them – and it will not hesitate to try and stop you. Here’s a look at one of its mechanical minions, a Spindle Drone:

So i am getting back into wargaming now as my interest in videogames is definitely waning, brought down by all the greed and bullshit the industry is going for. GW may not be saints, but at least if you buy a thing then you get the thing.

Over xmas i sold my xbox one and used the proceeds to pick up nightvault and blood bowl - i'm going to stick to the more self-contained games for now as they are quicker and easier to set up and play. Saying that i have developed a bizarre interest in Skaven so am getting their blood bowl team and nightvault squad with an eye to going for an AoS skaven army in the future, as well as exploring non-gw games like Kings of War: Vanguard and Gaslands.

Once i start going to the local groups i might suggest a cheeky Gorkamorka campaign to kick it old-school.

That Carrion Empire box looks excellent, especially as i am interested in Skaven and potentially Flesh Eater Courts.

Giving Killteam a Nightvault-like competitive expansion is interesting, i wish they'd go the other way and make Nightvault more narrative like Killteam in return.
