I subscribed to the premium version of Imperium and my brother-in-law paid for all the necron issues. I’m absolutely drowning in terrain which needs painting now - will have to come up with a quick method for knocking out a painting table full of it at a time. Really hoping the next 40K magazine subscription is something a bit greener for the non-Marine faction.

for some reason they just dont advertise these at all, but they are very good value generally - back of envelope maths works out about £860 for the full premium collection and traditionally it works out around £1500 worth of bits, shockingly

ive done the last two and have literal crates full of models

I'd likely jump on that if I didn't already have pretty much all of the Warclans side of it, great value.

I'd be interested in any of the shipping containers if you've got them going spare :toot:

Unfortunately I’ve already painted those up (almost the only terrain from the magazines that I’ve actually finished), I had three from this magazine run and three from the previous one so I batch painted them all in an afternoon.

The fact that you get a Krondys model with the Premium collection is absolutely ridiculous.

Unfortunately I've no real interest in the Orruks and Mrs already has a number of the models so won't bother subscribing. Might get a few issues here and there though.

Thank Christ for that. I've got so many sprues I'm keeping for turning into something useful or scenery or something no reason at all.

Will they accept 20+ years worth of that gooseberry fool.

Streamlined rules could actually drag me back into 40k, especially with new Tyranids.

The Lizardmen look great. Massive difference from the Knights on Cold Ones.

Yeah easier rules would mean I actually play the game instead of painting and collecting.

Playing OnePageRules is great and all, but it'd be fun to play with official names and rules etc

lion is very handsome and i like the funny little tzeentch lads

with the sigmar undead guys i never really connect with them, they are well made sculpts and stuff but none of them feel cool, like none of the undead stuff really feels badass in any way that id want to collect them, even the vampires i dunno if its how they paint them but they just look lank

Literally everything I had to say.

Are the new termagants monopose? Much more detailed, possibly easier to paint, because there aren't as many strange voids and filled in areas where you basically make up details (on the undersides and the way two halves plugged together).

I still have like 10 or more to paint, as well as about 20 Space Hulk genestalers for some reason (a model I don't even really like, so would probably heavily mod those if I got to it for cultists).

They also seem to have been made bigger to scale with the larger marine scale.

From that video there seems to be a bunch of other things coming too:

Brutish charging troop things
Floaty things
Massive zenothrope thing (think there already is something like that)
Winged tyranid warriors
Return of the gen1 / rogue trader carnifex concept

Just finished working on this:

Artifice Siren from Xenoblade 2. Replaced the wings (the originals were just printed on a flat piece of transparent plastic) with some 3D printed ones from Etsy, and added a base/stand from the same seller. Used some fluorescent paints which glow under a blacklight for the wings and some details. Really happy with how the whole thing turned out, and I’ve got a second out on the way to paint up as the other Siren class in the same game, since it’s pretty much just a palette swap (black instead of white, pink/purple/red instead of blue/green).
