Yeah, the internet as communications infrastructure requires a different regulatory approach to internet-based tech corporations.

Trying to control / police the internet in general is at best pointless and at worst a serious civil liberties issue. But coming down hard on specific large tech companies is great. Governments should be battering the likes of Google and Facebook (sadly it's currently the other way around!).

History will not be kind to Facebook or Zuckerburg. Even if is unintentional, the way that platform gets used to spread hate, lies and bigotry is abhorrent and should not be tolerated on any level.

History being unkind to Zuckerburg and/or Facebook implies a future where they are "vanquished", at least to a certain degree.

Right now I don't think that's a given. There's a solid chance we are heading for future where the control and influence exerted by Facebook et al. has only continued to grow and the voices against it become even more sidelined.

We used to have it as a treat when I was young (strawberry float off :lol:

) and it was always lovely. We hadn't had if for about 5 years and really fancied some for some reason last year. Went to the town and picked up some takeaway from the shop, really looking forward to it.

It was strawberry floating gross :dread:

We both felt properly sick afterwards, and couldn't decide if we had lower standards as kids becuase we eat actual food now, or if it was just a terrible instance of it.

You guys have been spoilt by fancy chicken places like Nandos. Some of us chicken veterans, true chicken fans, still appreciate the charm of eating a huge bucket of fried chicken by yourself then shitting all night.

KFC is like McDonald's and Burger King.

Its dirty and filthy but if you're in the right mood (or hungover) it hits the spot :wub:

McDonald’s isn’t better than many things, but it dumps on KFC like Karl after a family bucket.

I don't really care much for KFC in general, but their zingers are the best chicken burgers of the big three.

But Burger King is the king if we're talking base menu like what we currently have. Whoppers > Big Macs.

Then if we're talking extended/limited time menu, the Big Tasty wins out. Everything has its niche.

I think nandos is massively overrated. I've been maybe 5 times, all with people who were almost giddy with excitement to be going, and it was just like a so so piece of chicken, nothing special about it at all. If all the taste is in their sauces, then it doesn't speak much for the food itself.

Southern fried chicken is amazing when done right, there's just nothing like it. That and buffalo chicken wings, hot as strawberry float with a thick blue cheese sauce :datass:
