My girlfriend is from near Henley, so I've been there a couple of times. Last time I was stuck in line behind a really rude woman at the cinema who treated the cinema worker like a fuckwit (this was an arty cinema, and a middle aged "I'm here because I own/manage the place" worker, not a stereotypical young cinema worker). She didn't give me the best impression of the place to be honest, proves that money can't buy you some things.

When I first moved to London I lived in Kingston-upon-Thames with my then partner, not far from Henley. I managed just over a year before having to leave due to being too poor (and the fact I split up with my ex). Good times. :lol:

I was taken to the regatta once by my granddad, who was supporting some rowers from his old college.

The whole day was a mix of awkwardness (as I really didn't come close to 'fitting in') and hilarity (at the stupidity of some of the blazers being worn).
