We're not big on cider. By we, I mean me in particular .

The Milk Thistle was really good for Cocktails, and Chomp Was really good for Steak.

Love Bristol. Been there about 10 times for nights out and there are so many places to eat and drink.

My tip for food in Bristol would be Coconut Tree - it's a bit further out toward Clifton but it's strawberry floating amazing. Been there twice now (and to the ones in Cheltenham and Cardiff) and had a thoroughly great meal each time.

Anywhere in the Gower is probably a pretty safe bet - lovely scenery and coast line and popular enough that there's a good amount of stuff to do there.

Only downside is that it's quite near Swansea - but just keep your head down when you go through there and you should be fine!

Failing that there are plenty of places along the Welsh coast that are really nice to visit: Tenby, St Davids, Fishguard, Cardigan are all places that I've been on holiday/ for day trips recently and really enjoyed.
