If we are going into casual generalisation then on a similar note until recently I had an Indian housemate who burped loudly and regularly in front of people without ever saying "excuse me". I thought it was really rude but didn't want to say anything in case I came across like an arsehole although I have read online that Indian people being ill mannered is somewhat of a stereotype.

Yeah they are strawberry floated up. Have you noticed indians never say thank you if you give them leeway on the road. They act like they build road with their bare hands and therefor own it. I purposely cut them off etc now on the road.
