Another diversion from the main game, that's how I look at it. Something else to do when you're tired of main mission, and or the other diversions. Though it can help improve your chances in main game, too, if you put AP in it (which I guess depends on how much you enjoy it), and if you use fillets gained from catches in cooking recipes.

Is it a Rogue One thing that Iron Giants have been replaced by Yodas?

So a level 99 Magitek Armour has started showing up out of dropships and the thing is frigging impossible. My party are between levels 89 and 91 with most characters having one of their best weapons and I can barely scratch the thing, every hit I do only causes around 10 points of damage, WTF?

More than any other FF, this one has evolved a few different levels of Having A Good Run Away when troopers drop on me. Mostly because I can't be arsed any more.

Hold L1 and hope for a summon after a bit?

Shame, I thought that was pretty cool.

I thought chapter 13 would see the game turn into a TPS. You know, because of that dream Noctis has? I'm not sure if that would have been any worse than what it did turn out to be, though.

I remember someone saying the chapter was unplayable for them. Why was that? I didn't encounter anything that stopped progress. And it was more tedious than unplayable.

Quick question for anybody that's been playing through the sealed dungeons, are the best items (particularly the weapons) found at the camps/boss rooms? I don't want to miss anything but don't particularly want to make return trips to explore every route either.

I haven't run into any outside of those rooms that I can remember, but I can't say I've done all of them.

I had to go on YouTube for a guide on it as I was fighting for ages, even used a summon (water based) did nothing. Eventually I switched to easy mode and eventually won. Utterly terrible battle.

I've done one of the secret door Dungeons, about to do the second one. Not terrie but it shows just how much you need to grind to find loads of spells before you go on a proper quest.

I'm confident I'll not lose total interest in the game before Christmas but after I get some new games I can't see myself spending ages doing drawn out side quests and battles.

I have done the first two sealed dungeons so all I really have left in the game is the rest of those and the frigging mecha. Might try fighting it after eating the meal that guarantees criticals see if that helps.

Just caught Devil of the Cygillan :toot: Was down to 296 on the Dragon's Beard reel :brickingit:

Tricky bastard it is! You can clearly see it in the water, but it doesn't show up on the radar! Though thankfully it does have the interested-in-lure HUD animation when you successfully get its attention.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Final-Fantasy- ... eason+pass

Season Pass code is £17.49 on Amazon, £2.50 cheaper than anywhere else.

Just onto Chapter 9. Altissa is a sight to behold :datass:

Only just realizing how powerful and awesome spell crafting is in this.

Did the second sealed dungeon yesterday. Just one room after another of the same three types of bad guys. Then a standard character as a boss with more health followed by a crap weapon reward.

They are good for XP but apart from that they are dull so far.

I need to max out my spells AP points so I can. Get more from each batch I make. Im always running low.

I only just realised you could use multiples of the same item when crafting spells. This not only increases the potency but also the number of spells you receive.

The sealed dungeons are okay for the most part but the weapons you get don't seem to be as good as the ones I already have despite reading info to the contrary. I'm not looking forward to a couple of them as in one you can't use items and another there are around 100 floors to clear :dread:

They had a great chance to mix the sealed dungeons up and have one be a 100-floor marathon, one be a brutal superboss, one be a puzzle dungeon akin to Pitioss, etc

But they all seen to be the same bunch of rooms, which is a shame. Right now it's basically "Oh, I just did the flan dungeon and now this is the Coeurl dungeon."

I've also had a huge imbalance towards guns in the dungeons over other weapons, which I don't use. So at least Prompto is well geared, I guess.

Use YouTube. I spent a very long time in there.

This game shines outdoors, but indoors it's design choices are terrible.

I'm coming to the end of my time with it. Going to make a start on my holiday games soon and return to FF15 next year after a good break from it.

I expected Crestholm to be a nightmare but I found my way around the place pretty well. I found the switches and most of the items with little trouble. Only thing I had to use a guide for was the map fragment which it turns out I just kept walking past.
