It's all in the title, really.

Retailers aren't happy though...

One entertainment retail insider told MCV:

“Demand for Wii is still so rampant, this just makes no sense. You can still sell them at a premium – certainly at full price. This loss leader is completely unnecessary, and now others will surely be forced to follow suit.”

What price is it normally? I thought it was £160 everywhere.

£179.99. Most shops are selling it as a bundle deal for £200+.

Well presumably this isn't permanent ? For a limited time it would make sense for Sainsburys to do this - they can sure as hell afford it and its simply good advertising for them. Just can't see it lasting for that long.

The decrease in the price of Wii games is welcomed. Some are well overpriced as it stands.

I think nearly all of them are. Just played Deadly Creatures and enjoyed it, but 40 quid for a five-hour single-player game with no additional content is criminal.

Whoa. :o

For some reason I thought this was a 1000 point WiiWare title, and even then I was thinking overpriced.

Online retailers are selling it for £25.

Nah, it'd be well worth it for that. It's far more polished than most third-party Wii games.

Said this in the Games TM thread when people were bitching about the scores.

You would think Sainsburys would drop the price of the PS3 since that is the lowest selling console out of the current gen partially due to its high price (£299.99)

Just like hideous_enigma said, most places online have got the game for £25 and the rrp is only suppose to be £29.99 so I don't know why you think the game is £40.

Ah, fair enough. RRP £29.99? I'm sure I read £39.99 somewhere. Ah well, I've not awarded a score yet, so I can adjust accordingly.

One entertainment retail insider told MCV:

“Demand for Wii is still so rampant, this just makes no sense. It's just not fair, make them stop, pleeeeease. Waaaaaaaaah, I'm going to tell on you to my dad, waaaaaaaaaaah.”
