I really rate the RP2. The build quality is amazing and it works really well with everything up to PS1. N64 is mostly good but a few anomalies. Managing to get all the classics running really nicely but the odd thing is a bit messy. It does some PSP and Dreamcast stuff as well but not tried those too much. For £80 you can basically get access to several generations of gaming which is pretty crazy to me. Definitely recommend it.

Some more detailed instructions on how to get certain sytems working under Retroarch on XBSS/X.

Wii, GBA, GB and the one everyone has been waiting for, Atari 2600.

Had trouble installing the runtimes etc with my Vita to play certain ports, the recent port of Max Payne made me want to give it another try and hey presto I didn't strawberry float it up this time :toot:

So stuck Return To Castle Wolfenstein, Aliens Versus Predator 2000 Classic, Max Payne, GTA 3 and Half Life on there and they all play really well. Doing a run through of AVP which for a very old game looks and plays great on the Vita :wub:

I now think I'm out of space with the amount of games installed :shifty:

For Emulation, James?

Man it'd be a terrible shame if someone uploaded that ROM to some kind of Google Drive and then let us all know about it so we could avoid accidentally getting it :shifty:

I hope they didn't do exactly that a couple of hours ago into the Microsoft Xbox 360 folder.

I'd seen some clips of RT in Mario 64 a few months back but it didn't look as good as that! :shock:

And are people still using standalone emulators much or does everyone just use RetroArch?

EDIT: Question are always best in threes: What do people use to organise running emulators/games in a nice way? I seem to recall there was some kind of "all in one" launcher that you could setup?

I quite like Mupen64 as a stand alone emulator, though I understand Parallel under Retroarch is quite good as well.

It's been a while since I used one though.

Emulator frontends there are quite a few of them.

I like Launchbox. It's reasonably easy to pick up and the free version is excellent. Though if you like it I would recommend paying for the premium version which adds a ton of cool features.
