Hd remakes of the best Wii games would seem like a no-brainer that would surely rake in the cash.

Does this even support motion plus? This thread just verifies that the PC is still prime at being nothing but awkward, expensive and the 'eventually' system for eventually gamers.

lol

I'm not primarily interested in using this to play GC games for the first time, but to replay those old titles I loved, like killer7, REmake, Resi 4, all without having to dig out my old GC, and with the ease of being able to run it through my PC monitor, without having to hook everything up to a TV in another room. That sounds much less awkward, if you ask me. Plus, it would then give me the chance to play games I maybe didn't give a chance back then.

Born Stellar wrote:Yeah I meant next, but this isn't trolling. Gamecube games for the first time, really? You people claim you like games?

I guess re-releasing Halo CE on 360 is because none of you 360 people like games either, then.

All I'm hearing is "waaah, waaaah, other people can play more games than me, waaaah".

Here, have a few more screenshots at 720p, it's low res enough to ease the pain:

I turned off anisoptropic filtering and AA to see what it would look like and if it offered any more frames.

What's with the borders? Are you limited to a few pre-set resolutions?

TTP always pissed me off with how close the HUD elements are to the centre of the screen. It takes the piss.

Nah, you're not limited to it, you can change the settings to widescreen even on games that don't support it.

I don't know, which gamecube/wii game to you think future generations will play to completion on the emulator when they can't source a gamecube/wii?

You need to let this jealousy thing go, it's not good for your anus.

Not many according to the orders of Turok himself. Not to mention the fact that few people are going to care for this emulator going down the road.

Better try and attempt some substance over buzzwords Turok, or you're going to continue to get Santa Destroyed.

I don't see why few people will care for this emulator. The old NES/SNES emulator used to see tons of use from me when I was making my way through secondary school.

I'd imagine you are one of the few, you think this thing will go mainstream?

No, but it doesn't have to, so I don't see an issue there.

Something doesn't have to be mainstream to interest more than a few people. It'll be niche, but it will have an audience. I still can't see why you're taking issue with it, however.

$ilva those ground textures in Twilight Princess look horrendous. Are there no hi-res texture packs or anything available for it?

Can you please stop posting in this thread since you are adding no worthwhile contribution and are just baiting/trolling for whatever pointless reason.

No texture packs available. Like I said though I'm running it all on low settings as possible to see if I can get more frames, there's no AA, or Anisoptropic filtering. Also there's only so much you can do with an old game I guess.
