PS3 emulation is coming on amazingly well, which is especially important with Sony not seeming to give a single strawberry float.

Not emulation as such but I'm having a grand time messing about with portmaster on my anbernic Rg351mp. AM2R and Streets of Rage Remake play perfectly, like they were designed for this. I got shovel knight to work but it looks very soft - I don’t think it likes being in 4:3. Might try sticking half life and quake on there next time I’m in front of my steam pc but I can’t imagine they would be great to control.

Apparently undertale and freedom planet can be installed via port master but you need the Linux versions and I don’t fancy double dipping.

A Link to the Brass- a LTTP cover album with an included MSU-1 patch for your ROMs!

Was just gonna put this in the general retro thread, but I thought it might be of interest to those of you with the capacity to play MSU-1 patched ROMs.

I've already pre-ordered the album on Bandcamp, and I'm very much looking forward to playing through LTTP with it! :toot:

I mean... it's sort of neat, but it's also kind of... cursed?

Were you able to have a play around with it? If so, thought?

Totally forgot about it. Might give it a go tomorrow I think.

Everdrives are currently 20% off on Krikzz.com and Everdrive.me. Just snagged myself a GBA one. :datass:

Cheers man. Got all the everdrives I'll ever need though.

I've moved onto ODEs for Disc based systems now.

Got a GDemu for my Dreamcast a few months ago and, finally, got a Fenrir for my Saturn last week.

Plan is to get the GCloader for the GameCube or an Xstation for PS1 next.

I've spent so much money on this gooseberry fool over the past two years. :slol:

I've been meaning to work on my Dreamcast for a while now. Planning to do the whole shebang, power supply, ODE, etc. Just a case of getting round to it!

When you do get a GCLoader, I recommend getting an SD2SP2 for the serial port on the bottom. Saves faffing with Swiss on a memory card!

Noted!

Only thing really holding me back from getting the GCloader is waiting for them to come into stock at gamesconnection. Always seem to be on "Back-order".

Need to get some decent video cables for my GC as well. RAD2x cable does OK but it's not amazing. Probably look into some component cables or something.

Make sure its the EverDrive-GBA X5 Mini you get, I got the non mini one a few years ago and the biggest complaint I had was the cartridge stuck out at the top (was the size of a GBA cart that had rumble/tilt like drilldozer for example). New version sits flush with the GBA now. I won't upgrade as to be honest I just use my emulation handheld now but it always annoyed me that it stuck out the top.

Speaking of which - I dunno how many people here use the Anbernic RG351 P/M/V/MP models but the new stable release of my favourite community firmware 351 elec came out yesterday and is superb:

I did get the mini version, thanks for the heads up.

It just occurred to me though, my missus bought me the GBC everdrive last week for Christmas. If she'd waited until today and bought it direct from Krikzz, she'd have saved about £40.

Got a hold of a Retroid Pocket 2+ this week. Magic stuff! Trying to set up Dolphin on it, but part of the tricks required to get it running is to use PAL Roms. The ones in the folder are all US. Is anyone able to fire some PAL ones in there? I was hoping to try Wind Waker, Eternal Darkness, Luigi’s Mansion, Pikmin 2 and Paper Mario TTYD. If anyone has those would they be able to fire them into the folder?

So far everything else I’ve tried has been amazing. PSP and DC are a big step up from the standard RP2!

Can any of our Emu Wizards recommend something to run emus on my android phone (pixel 6)?

I want to load it up with games to use a Bluetooth controller on.

I'm not overly familiar with emulation on Android, but Retroarch is probably a good place to start.

Didn't the guy behind Retroarch turn out to be a massive bellend who ended up stealing a bunch of other people's work without permission?
