Might play Fusion next. :shifty: It was an ambassador game.

Fusion is good, but very linear in comparison to Super.

If you're playing Fusion on the 3DS don't forget you can hold the start button when you start it up so you can play in the original resolution rather than the scaled up one if you want. The default one seems fine though, even if it is a tad blurry.

This x1000

Though playing at native res does make the display small of course, it's a trade off for non-bluriness.

I always play native res. Pixel art truly is great.

I watched this video the other day, seems a good time to bring it up. Kinda spoilery, but a decent viewpoint on this game.

One of the best Metroid games.

I like fusion because it's quite dark.

Apparently my Mii is playing Super Metroid in My Nintendo. :)

One of the best Metroid games.

I've watched a few of his vids. Not that one for obvious reasons. Really good even with bizarre Sonic love.

Have started. Got charge beam (the mimic idea here was funny) and stopped having just entered Sector 2. Really much prefer the movement and controls in this. Soooooo good. Ledge grabbing etc. :datass: Although having only just finished Super Ms. Metroid I have to fight the instinct play it like that. Like the little story bits. Don't mind that its more linear so far but not so keen on the way the story is opening and closing doors.

Gone back to Metroid Prime 3, good fun. My Wiimote seems to be on the blink as I had to resync it several times, nearly threw it into the tv when I was trying to do some welding with a time limit. I'm not entirely sure what's going on at the moment, think I've forgotten where I was in the story, and I don't know if I'm a fan of all these seperate worlds and flying between them or not.

Feed me now ice bitches

On the Prime 3 travelling Hypes I don't see it as much different to this. Personally I prefer it as it cuts down on the time needed to backtrack.

So I've got the Ice Missiles now and have to pop upstairs to check something out. Enjoying it. The timed section actually surprised me.

Weakest thing so far for me is the music. Not really feeling it.

Yeah, the music in Prime 3 was pretty forgettable for the most part. Couple of decent tracks, but mostly it was just meh.

Oh, right. :fp: Fusion's music was better than Prime 3's, I thought - very atmospheric and foreboding, outright beautiful in places.

Great game, too. Linear, sure, but a great introduction to a fantastic franchise.

Started a hyper mode run of prime. Expected it to be a little harder to be honest. I have to use save rooms to heal often because of how much damage everything does but the game isn't that hard even on hyper mode. Also because I've 100% it already on normal I might as well go for the double as I don't think I'll lose much time doing so this time.
