I am bored and so have been messing around reading random articles on Wikipedia. And so I decided to see if I could get to "Bristol" by clicking links from the first random article I clicked.

I felt I was too lucky by not only getting a location but a British location and so went again.

Kingdom of Great Britain ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_of_Great_Britain ): A shithole country that not even Donald Trump bothers to slander. Now part of the United Kingdom.

My objective was to get to Mario Kart: Double Dash's page. Though I had originally considered just going for Nintendo, I wanted something a bit more specific.

The Random Article I got given was Sharon Booth - Australian Swimmer at the 1972 Summer Olympics.

1972 Summer Olympics - A multi-sport event held in Munich, Germany, being the second Summer Olympics to be held.

Summer Olympic Games - A major international multi-sport event held every four years, with the next to be held in Tokyo, Japan.

Tokyo - One of the 47 prefectures of Japan, serving as the capital that was once held by Kyoto.

Kyoto - Considered the cultural capital of Japan, it is the headquarters of Nintendo.

Nintendo - A videogame company who have seen success with its consoles, with a few exceptions such as the Gamecube.

Gamecube - The purple cube that served as Nintendo's sixth generation console, it had many many classic games such as Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and Mario Kart: Double Dash.

Mario Kart: Double Dash - Second best-selling Gamecube game of all-time, and a personal favourite.


Quite an interesting journey from beginning to end. I might try again, though next time I'll aim for a car brand.

As I was reading the Doctor Who thread, I decided that might be a good objective to aim for. I thought it would be harder than just picking a location, but I was wrong.

I had a go.

My random article was Viewing Party (an episode of The Office US). This took me Scranton, Pennsylvania, which had a direct link to WW2 in it. I suppose most major places probably link to it.
