Lapability is ok if you're a kitten, discussing the texture of milk.

Is there an overall windows thread on here or is this it. If not then i'll post this here but recently i bought a Linx 10 tablet which has windows 8.1 full on it. Not the cut down one but a full on version of windows, the tablet comes with 2gb ram a quadcore processor and the usual built in Intel HD graphics. It's nothing over the top or insanely powerful but they do go for 150 quid from sainsburys and ebuyer and because i had 50 quids worth of nectar voucher points i picked one up after playing around with it and it's a brilliant piece of kit. It comes with 32gb hard drive but it has an expansion slot which can handle 132gb sd card, it has a mini hdmi out port and a mini usb port (the device also comes with the adapter. On top of that it also has bluetooth built in , overall it's a great piece of hardware and runs windows 8.1 flawlessly.

Anyway if anyone was interested in one of these , has any questions or wants some pics i'm more than happy to help.

Not upgraded to Windows 10 yet? It's a much more consistent tablet/touch experience than 8.1.

nope, i have heard and read that there are a few bugs and glitches on the linx 10 so i'm waiting till all that is sorted out first. I have windows 10 on my pc though and other than a few little weird issues it's very good.

So now Microsoft now have two devices that both absolutely slaughter iPad Pro and Macbook Pro.

I think they mention that Surface Pro was 50% more powerful than Macbook Pro, and Surface Book was 2x more powerful.

Only downside is, it has de-registered my hooky copy of Office 2010 and I can't find the disk to attempt to re-register it. :(

Was going to buy Lightroom 6 but might have to spend that on Office now instead.

Get a 365 sub from Amazon is about 60 a year and you get 5 installs plus 1tb one drive storage for up to 5 users.

hmmm, i might be tempted now, did you just do the normal upgrade that's automatic and it worked fine. Also have you had a go with it , what do you think of windows 10 on the tablet compared to windows 8.1 as i'm pretty happy with 8.1.
