Winter: Best time of the year to play games.

It is tho isnt it? I always love it when the it gets dark at like 5. Even going home theres a bit of traffic cos the schools are back so I usually fire up my DS in the car for some FFIV/FFTactics, infact, I cant wait to!

Then you go home and eat a bit of dinner and retreat to your gaming safe in the knowledge that while its cold outside and dark, you are warm and comfy running around shooting zombies in the face with your friends! Awesome!

Summer is too hot to do anything enjoyable, so stay in playing games!
Winter you can go an sit in a country pub, by a roaring fire with some mulled wine.

Bliss. I love going to 'the foggy dew' in town and sitting down with the paper in front of the fire. Lovely. I dont like playing games in the summer, feckin Sun comes in behind the TV and blinds me!
Even with blinds closed it still manages to creep in!

That's a totally awesome pub name.

I tend to be out and about more and playing a lot less in the winter. I always have chores like the bloody garden.

I like the winter when I feel can OK about gaming as it's too rubbish outside to do much else.

I'm with Photek one this one. Nothing beats the winter months of curling up in a chair, surrounding by snacks, with the fire blazing and hearing the winter winds whistle through the air and sitting down to play the latest blockbuster, ahhhh.

Shame we haven't enough summer as its been pretty much like this already. I do hate to game when it's hot

Broken Sword 1 & 2 is a perfect rainy sunday game, when the weather is crap and it's dull and gloomy, a lazy afternoon will fly by when playing either of these games.
