I love how two of my favourite games from the mid 90s, Resident Evil and WipEout have gone on to spawn two of the best VR experiences 20 years later.

That's is kinda amazing. Really shows how things have progressed, despite these latest itterations being on technology as new as the PS1 was back then.
I have Resi 7 but am still too scared to play it.....

If you've got a PSVR and don't own this then you should buy it immediately. If you already own it then you should download the update right now. It's absolutely incredible and I'd say it's the single best reason to own a PSVR.

This.

Just got round to trying it and by god it's amazing.

It's crisp, fast and stunning. Easily one of the best VR games I've played so far.

Agreed. It’s massively impressive and fun. Also I get away with all the comfort settings turned off and view locked to pilot. It’s pretty intense stuff.

Still not sure if airbreaking or lifting off gas is the more effective means of taking the more gradual bends. I should know this after 22 years...

Just to add to the comments above, I just tried this in VR for the first time and its utterly amazing.

Just imagine being able to go back and show myself playing the first game demo in currys on launch day, it'd be utterly mind blowing.

Been putting some hours into this (only 2048 so far).
And its great, and looks gorgeous... But is it me or does it feel really slow, like the ship isn't fast enough?

Finding it really difficult to get in the top five positions too.

I used to be the king of Wipeout 2097 back in the day. Now I feel like a bumbling idiot!

Been practicing and been getting some 2nd and 3rd places.

The biggest revelation was turning pilot assist off.
What a hindrance that turned out to be in hindsight.

The combat mode is mad fun too
