Yeah I'm pretty against that, feels too close to cheating.

I wish mommy had been playing the most audacious game ever because now I feel guilty. If
You are still reading I’m sorry but you played like a mad bastard all game I couldn’t help think you were suspicious.

Edit. My apology is not related to his death before people start saying it’s an admission, rather for how I was on him all game!

More notably, with a moment to think, the Alpha has returned to killing, having taken a sabatical.

I was fully on board with Cora's theory of advanced level play by deliberately timing out to run the game down, but we might just be overthinking it, and the Alpha's picked foolishly each day and encountered Orange's protected party.

Why change tact now? Is it because there was no chance in hell we'd ever lynch Mommy? Or because the Alpha just wanted to stop Mommy having a chance of winning?

That was my theory. :capnscotty:

Killing Mommy still fits because there was no way he was the Alpha. Only mad people like FatDaz thought differently. Killing him doesn't change the human task and can serve as revenge, Mommy was instrumental in bringing down all the wolves, after all.

Agree with Pancake, it might simply have been a pure revenge kill with no thought behind it. I guess we’ll see tomorrow if the wolves are compelled to kill or if they’ll(it? There’s only one left now I guess) go back to silence tomorrow.

The other option is that they’ve been trying to kill Mommy or ORKN for the last few days and ORKN didn’t bother protecting him for this night phase because everyone’s been seered, so they finally got him. But that would be genuinely stupid play, IMO.

And yeah, that was Pancake’s thought originally not mine. I was expanding on the logic as I saw it.

Apologies Pancake.

If it's not too late, I'd like to stand for mayor for the first time on the platform of killing FatDaz as the Alpha.

As you said, it's literally unbelievable that someone could have believed he was anything other than a seer for so long.

I propose it was a false pretence and he was trying to protect his wolves, in an admittedly unsubtle way. He needed to lobby hard to get the seer circle broken, and the broken wolf system gave him some potential traction in order to enable this.

I'm not convinced the wolves have played a great game. Their plan was clearly to send people like Kezzer to infiltrate circles through PMs, which was successful at first, but never evolved beyond that.

FatDaz stands out as a potential architect of a face-value plan (no offence lad).

Plz vote 4 Clarky.

If Fatdaz is the alpha then he’s played a really strawberry floating poor game, Clarky. Your posting style fits more with the profile of the alpha werewolf than his does, and this looks like a late stage attempt at deflection now that you’re up for a lynch...

Agreed! I'd be an excellent Alpha if I ever had the chance. :shifty: Much better than the gameplan executed in this iteration.

Hm. It would be bloody ballsy for the Alpha to be so vocal against a seer and witch doctor in the thread.

I don't think the wolves have done much wrong either, they just got caught out by Mommy who, despite some erratic behaviour, did well to convince enough of the important roles that he was telling the truth.

Really? I’ve been on mommy for ages. If I had anything to say he’d have been dead long ago. Of course I’d be wrong but what’s new. You fit the profile and I think you’ll struggle to find many who think I could be alpha. Whatever else you think about this game, the alpha has been shrewd in taking it this close to the wire.

To my mind, an effective Alpha in this game would have mobilised troops to cause as much chaos as possible in thread during the mid-game, while we were systematically working through the seerings, as it was just a matter of time until they were all picked off, and any delays would play to wolf advantage.

I'm not sure there's evidence of any meaningful wolf strategy in place in terms of voting patterns or presence, which annoying has left the Alpha extremely well hidden. Everything points to a very surface level Alpha strategy, with allocated parts and roles that didn't change/evolve over time.

Yes, FatDaz's tactic would be v ballsy for an Alpha, but can we SINCERELY believe that he doubted Mommy in the face of overwhelming evidence? Or did he initially lobby accusations and then get caught in a trap of needing to see them through?

Also interesting that Mommy dies after Clarkman is being targeted, and then Clarkman wanders into the thread to suggest that maybe the wolves had been stupidly trying to kill a protected player for ages. A desperate attempt to frame FatDaz maybe? Seems a little too obvious but perhaps we have rattled the Alpha after all...

Clarkman is doing a hatchet job of framing me. Yes I was wrong about mommy. I did doubt him early on and even till the end there was a slim thought he could have sacrificed all the other wolves to earn sufficient trust to be beyond reproach. As time went on i didn’t want to back down on my accusations. I was hoping to look the hero had he been revealed as alpha.

Hi, I think you've already settled on the correct answer in the thread, but the answer is: no, don't do this.

What you're suggesting is essentially sharing the role PM verbatim (just one letter at a time) which isn't allowed.

Thanks for the clarification.

Whilst your here, If the wolves did timeout thier kills to "hide in the crowd" would you do an inactive cull in place as a "stay active" punishment?

Also on Monday there where supposed to be two wolf kills for the double lynch, did they time out then?
