Why would they be angry?
Nazi stories aren't exactly a new thing and America being beaten by them in WW2 has been done hundreds of times in every media form imaginable. I highly doubt this games story does anything that hasn't been seen before and to try and claim it says anything about modern politics shows they have no idea how long it takes to make games.
The plot of this series was set decades ago with Wolfenstein on the PC and it's been the same idea since then it's like suddenly being annoyed that Coronation Street doesn't show Manchester in a more positive tone.

:( So after what happened happened (see my post above. It has early game story spoilers) I've kind of lost interest in getting back into it.

That's why you should always have a bottle of vodka next to your computer.
If you accidentally read a spoiler simply start downing shots as fast as you can until you can't remember the spoiler and bingo, problem solved.

Oh, no, I didn't read it. I played the game and now I've kind of lost interest because she was my favourite from the last game.

Lobbing hatchet  I just wish it had a nice arc animation to it. (Maybe it does and I just failed to spot it.)

Made it to Roswell. Is it strange that I really hope Denver Airport shows up as an epicentre of all the different military Areas?

I'm guessing everyone's going into stages guns a blazin' no matter if there's a commander present or not?

Yeah, I killed everyone then the commander comes for you, it saves time.

:( Did Machine Games tone down the ultra violence? I can't recall enemies falling into pieces very good. I go for dismembering shots and... nothing. They die, but with limbs still attached!

Hmm. I assumed I was getting an endless procession of enemies until I took alerted commander down. Will have to try it in a variety of areas to see how it plays out. (I've yet to have one come after *me*.)

 So, this goes places, huh. Terror Billy is feeling like his old self again. The lead up to it was amazing *even though* though it was foreshadowed.

And the tune which plays after Gun. Key. Run. :datass:

Toward the end of the stage, did you spot that cart full of the failed auditionees?

What got me was the internal dialogue afterwards, when you properly regain control of Blazko. I mean, how does he not make a change to his plans and add offing Hitler to his to do list? Granted going by the cutscene he isn't long for the world :slol: :dread: , and taking care of him then wouldn't be the same as taking care of him whilst the war was still in progress, but... y'know? It'd still be worth doing, wouldn't it? But I'm still on that stage (just landed on Venus proper) so I guess there's still time to somehow kerplode that space station...

Just finished the first game, loved it even if it did look ugly as hell. Really want to play the 2nd now and see how it continues. BJ can't half take a beating. Stabbed, shot, stabbed through the chest and slowly sliced open and a grenade.
