It seems that Wombo Dream art is blowing up on social media right now. It's a free-to-download mobile app where you type in a few words, select an art style and - wham! - a few moments later artwork pops out. Great fun!

Be aware that WOMBO Dream takes code developed by hobbyist AI artists and uses it without attribution/acknowledgement.

I'm not trying to spoil the fun - I really like AI art!

If you want to learn more about the community behind AI art, one of the best codes is called Zoetrope. It's developed by @classpectanon aka @ai_curio.

You can use it without any technical knowledge by tweeting a phrase to @ai_curio_bot (down today but back soon!). You can also run Zoetrope yourself directly if you're willing to spend a few mins reading the instructions.

Fine to use this app if you prefer - I just wanted to draw attention to the artists/programmers developing the codes underneath these apps and generously making it all available for free. Some of them have Patreons etc so you can check that out too if you like this stuff!
