What would be interested is, for a word with two As, if you entered AAAAA, would two of them show green and the rest grey? Or would two of them be green and the rest yellow?

It'd knock back AAAAA as it's not a word.

But theoretically, yes, the former.

I tested this with today's puzzle, and you can see that two of the Bs are marked as green/yellow, but the redundant third one is grey.

Big fan of how the internet takes Wordle spoilers more seriously than any other media.

First time I ever played this today and I won but only because I got the hint in here. The main reason I struggled is i couldn't think of any five letter words. Eventually got it in 6.

Well, Mastermind doesn't typically tell you which colours are correct. And a numbers-based game isn't really the same thing because you can use any combination of numbers, but you can't spell XXTZP or whatever.

Basically those games are pure logic and reasoning puzzles, whereas Wordle and Lingo are vocabulary puzzles with a logical clue system.

Yep, done in four as well, easier one today. Splendid.

Did it in 5 today, not great, but at least i've yet to fail completely.

Got it in three. Slightly annoyed I didn't manage to do it in two.

After 15 days my 1st failure today :cry:

Got today's by the skin of teeth again (that's two 6s in a row). 23 day streak. 8-)

The tension dropping that last guess was quite something.

Got today's in 4. Nice when it isn't a total failure.

I'm not convinced today's solution is even a word.
