I've set up a league on the official World Cup Fantasy Football site.

This link takes you directly to the league, or you can use the code which is KWG8PDF7.

Jesus, I think Ricky Wilson and Freddy Flintoff have ruined the World Cup :dread:

Just ignore it and pretend it didn’t happen.

ITV said tonight they’ve bagged Gary Neville for their World Cup coverage.

Thought that was a solid performance. That Rufus Loftus-Cheek is definitely a strong prospect.

Are they trying to frame that as some kind of good thing?

ITV's pundits are generally less annoying than BBC's, but still largely unnecessary and still just spout the same old nonsense.

He's great on Sky so yes, it's a very good thing.

Yeah he was an arsehole as a player and was a strawberry floating useless manager, but he is good at the TV stuff.

Hard to ever get decent punditry on ITV though as the ad-breaks don't let any conversation or analysis really flow.

Manuel Lanzini is out of the World Cup. Gutted for the guy and it's also terrible news for West Ham as the injury probably rules him out for most if not all of next season.

At least we won't have to listen to Bittersweet Symphony, which'll be a welcome relief. How many years have they been using that? :fp:

Just looked up the full list of pundits:

BBC
Alan Shearer
Frank Lampard
Rio Ferdinand
Phil Neville
Jermaine Jenas
Danny Murphy
Martin Keown
Alex Scott
Didier Drogba
Jurgen Klinsmann
Pablo Zabaleta

ITV
Gary Neville
Patrice Evra
Roy Keane
Ryan Giggs
Henrik Larsson
Ian Wright
Lee Dixon
Eni Aluko
Slaven Bilic
Martin O’Neill

That's mostly good to be fair. Only Phil Neville, Martin Keown and Ryan Giggs can strawberry float off out of it.

i quite enjoy Keown when hes getting angry; he was virtually shaking when taking Ozil to task in one of Arsenal's matches last season
Neville & Giggs are boring

Looks mostly gooseberry fool from where I'm sitting.
It's just so tedious with the constant cliches, pointless waffling and 'big names' offering no insight whatsoever.

So you'd rather 15 minutes of adverts at half-time? Or just a blank screen? Come off it.

Well on ITV they could show The Mummy during the breaks in play.

From the looks of Keown it's a wonder he didn't defecate into his own hands and start flinging his gooseberry fool about the studio.

No, and I didn't suggest either of those.

I'd rather see pundits who actually offer interesting insight and analysis. Other sports do it, I'm not sure why football can't.
Sounds like Gary Neville is a revelation in the world of punditry though so I wait with baited breath for that.
