I would love an underdog like Peru to win it.

I'm rooting for you Moggy :toot:

It’s amazing really how the same old teams always win the World Cup. And even when a new team win it, they are a big country (France and Spain).

I’d love to see more shock winners of the World Cup. Leicester won the Premier League, Wigan won the FA Cup, why can’t Peru win the World Cup? :toot:

In terms of winners am I right in saying it's:

Brazil x5
Germany x4
Italy x4
Argentina x2
Uruguay x2
England x1
France x1
Spain x1

I guess Belgium and Portugal might be the most likely new winners...maybe Colombia at a push? Wonder whether an African team will get past the QFs for the first time this year. Can't see it myself, but you never know.

And Greece won the Euros, qualifying from a group with Portugal and Spain, and then beating France, Czech Republic and Portugal to win the trophy.

So why not.

I’d say you have that about right, Belgium/Portugal are the only likely new winners this year imo. And Belgium have Martinez in charge, if he can win the FA Cup with Wigan, why not the World Cup with Belgium?

Very elaborate set from ITV. They’ve only been on 10 minutes and they’ve already had 8 talking heads.

Referee Mark Clattenburger their VAR analyst in THE TRUCK.

Why Robbie Williams? Heard he was doing it a few days ago but genuinely no idea why. Plus he looks like Morrissey.

Edit: great minds Moggy

It is a very odd choice as I thought it was just British people who cared about him. I can only think of two of his songs.
