This.

No it doesn't. If I was 'lecturing' him on his lack of fullstops, yeah, you'd have a point. But I wasn't, I was 'lecturing' him because he wrote something wildly different to what he meant and then got uppity when it was misunderstood by several people. And now resorts to listing as many swearwords as he knows. Strawman all you'd like, lack of capital letters doesn't muddy the meaning of a statement.

I have no problem with you DBlock, I've liked reading your posts in here - just don't get snarky when someone misunderstands what you mean and then tell someone else to be clearer in what they say.

I don't care how stoned you still are.

A post below I wrote : ''I'm happy for Iniesta because he scored the biggest goal of his career and the other two well they won't be around at that time unless they stay fit and can keep up with the younger squad ''

I didn't get '' snarky'' towards anyone and the way I replied to Cuttooth suggested that, I wasn't being serious towards him. The only person in this thread who his knickers twisted (Isn't that what you English folks say?) was you. If you weren't being such a giant (you know what I mean) then I wouldn't use swear words towards but since you were/are then I have no problem with what I said. I have no problem with you either besides disliking you very much but next time just take two minutes to read through the thread before you start spouting off ''YOU SIR CANT SPELL WORDS YOU CANNAE BE BORN IN ENGLAND'' . You did try to lecture me on my Grammar stop trying to twist your own words.

Good night.

Yeah there's not a single point amongst any of that but I'm not going to waste my time.

There is a point you just choice to ignore it. By reading that and this you gave me your ''valuable time'' for strawberry float sakes you on this forum more then anyone.

''Saying it's because I was controlling you and making you sad when actually I just asked you to wear some trousers''

Now that you ladies have hopefully put your handbags away, what would everyone's team of the tournament be?

-------------------Casillas---------------------
Maicon-------Pique-------Friedrich--------Lahm
----------Van Bommel----Schweinsteiger-------
Forlan-------------Sneijder-----------------Villa
--------------------Gyan----------------------

To be fair, the banter is epic  I actually think DBlock is winning but I doubt Igor would waste his valuable time with a retort :P

Shouldn't that be a 4-3-3? I know Villa played a lot wide left but Forlan wide right is weird.

Also, Van Bommel?

Van Bommel doesn't get sent off! He's the perfect player to have sitting deep. That's the only reason why I chose him.

The way I see that team, Forlan, Villa and Sneijder have the ability to roam around the final third of the pitch with Maicon and Lahm providing the width and Schweinsteiger and Van Bommel mopping up and distributing the ball. Gyan's strong, quick and works well on his own so they can either play short quick passing to move the ball forward or lump it up to him for him to chase/hold up.

So that's why they were so good.

Is it just me or was the whole Fabregas-Barcelona-shirt thing a bit out of order? Very awkward position to put him in.

Oh and England have climbed the world rankings by one place somehow:

I almost feel embarassed.

The way that club are acting is a disgrace. The only reason more hasn't been made of it is because it's Barcelona, who are seen as a heavenly club for some reason. Imagine if it was Chelsea, City or Real.

I did this by severing my real arms and replacing them with super-human cyborg arms.

Well, I imagine that France and Italy were above us and they had worse results. It does not say who we over took, but that is surely the only way.

Did you hear about Lippi? When they got back to Italy he apparently got on his yacht and went sailing in the Med, but then could not get back onto dry land because at every port he was resoundedly boo'd and heckled.

Definitely. The ridiculous thing is would he even get in the team?

Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Pedro... That's already 5 in midfield with Villa upfront on his own. :|

Yeah this, City got a much worse rap from the press for the Lescott saga (and that was mainly down to the player's actions anyway) yet here Barcelona have gone well beyond tapping up and have faced no reprisals

Not that surprising considering Italy and France. We played better than them even if we were terrible.

Is there any hostility between Barca and Madrid?

It's a bit something to make the world cup win about Barca and to display the shirt in Madrid....

So england have been moved up to 7th in the FIFA world rankings. :fp:

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

6 ranks too low IMO.
