I think he must have decided which things he would book the players for at the start, and, to be fair, remained relatively consistent throughout.

Shocking tackles from the Dutch, but the Spanish were embarrassing too.

I feel for Webb too. He was in a no win situation. If he had started booking players right from the start, we could have seen atleast 5 Dutch players and 2 Spanish players sent off in the night. And if he had done that, everyone would have said he ruined the final.

Definitely, if only for the massive massive party and hundreds of incredibly hot, incredibly merry, and no doubt incredibly horny Spanish chikas.. Think of the Spanish baby boom in 9 months time as well. I'd skip work and fly over to Madrid or Barca if I had the money, time or people to go with..

Spain  Spanish girls

Stupid English :x

I've been to Spain a lot as my parents have owned a house there for the past 15 or 20 years. Whenever I go there it's always - funnily enough - the Dutch/German girls that are the fit ones, not really the Spanish chicas.

But then I'm not really into the Latino look so maybe it's just me.

To be honest, you could take my post and replace Spanish with Dutch or German and the end result would be the same. With those three in the semis, the gorgeous girls were bound to win.

Just returned few hours ago from Amsterdam. What a nightmare and I'm just stunned at what our players were doing majority of the time. I'm sure they were nervous as strawberry float because never have we played this un-organised when going forward it was shocking at times but Robben was one man machine and brilliant to watch so gutted he didn't score. Should have seen the whole square exploding into anger/fear at the same time. At that moment we all knew we wasn't going to win. So many tears shed it was unreal at times . I have never witnessed so many people just look and act like ghost when Iniesta scored. Very emotional night.

I was angry but I was very happy for Iniesta,Xavi, Puyol because mainly they won't be around to play 2014 and Iniesta's goal reminded me of the goal he scored against Chelsea at the last minute. This time instead of joy I was almost in tears.

Very proud of the boys and maybe next time we will win *touch wood*.

EDIT: Nice topic title.

Iniesta is only 26, I'm sure he'll see another World Cup before he retires ;)

I'm happy for Iniesta because he scored the biggest goal of his career and the other two well they won't be around at that time unless they stay fit and can keep up with the younger squad . ;)

26+4=30.

Count on your fingers if you need to.

Nope, you said that Iniesta wouldn't be around for 2014, despite him only being 30 (come Brazil). You really think thats the case?

No chance he will still be in the team with either Fabregas or Sergio/Pedro/Silva replacing Xavi and maybe Raul Albiol replacing Puyol.
