While this is true, the notion that it is the worst film ever is frankly ridiculous. Perhaps even more so than nominating Mars Attacks. Mentalists, the pair of you.

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt that the Hunger you're referring to there is not the one directed by Steve McQueen. Because that would be insane.

Dangerous Game. We all had a good laugh at the trailer when it got posted in the football thread, but when you watch the film in its entirety you see just how strawberry floating shocking it is. It's two hours of porn preamble level terrible acting in a fictional football world so removed from reality it makes Steve Bruce's novels seem like the Rothman's Book. It can be said when most people are criticising footballers that even if the player in question is absolutely shocking by Isthmian League standards, they are almost certainly better than you purely because they're playing there. The same can probably be said of bad films - just getting a film out there is difficult enough, let alone making it good. Having said that, I would wager that I, with no professional film industry experience, could improve that film. Writing, acting, casting. I could do it better. That's how bad it is.

Sex Lives of the Potato Men is probably the worst I've seen in the cinema, but we went in fully expecting that.

Also going to say: Batman vs Superman is worse than Batman and Robin.

When I lived in the States I saw three films which all made it into my top ten gooseberry fool films. I remember them because when I discussed them with my mates they hadn't heard of them, which I thought was odd as we were all big movie-going geeks!

It was ages before I realised that the films were so awful they never made it to cinemas in the UK.

Anyway, they are:

1. Swimfan
2. Ballistic: Ecks Vs Sever
3. Fear.Com

All completely apalling.

I called off his players' names as they came marching up the steps behind him....All nice guys. They'll finish last. Nice guys. Finish last.

I remember seeing the Ecks Vs Sever GBA game all the time back in the day. Apparently it was really good.

Ha! Yeah I'd forgotten about the game, it was very good! An FPS on Game Boy - pretty impressive.

The film, though....Jeez. It's probably worth tracking down just for the novelty of it.

I remember it having a fairly large marketing campaign - it was on the side of every bus you saw, while there was a fairly high profile TV campaign which had these, like, fifteen second bursts of "This summer, Lucy Liu is going........ BALLISTIC!" In what seemed like every ad break.

I hated Steve McQueen's Hunger, i don't care what anyone thinks, i found it to be irredeemably awful.

Oh god yes, that was truly dreadful.

Also, on a separate note, Ben Stiller's The Heartbreak Kid was also garbage.

Justice league - comfortably one of the worst films if not the worst that I've ever seen. Absolutely strawberry floating awful and inexcusable given then money and talent behind it.

In my defence I haven't watched many films in my time. That's the worst one I've seen (ending wise... it was too sudden!) though I was 12 at the time if seeing it.

Also Arachnaphobia. (Only because I'm terrified of spiders )

Ludo is gooseberry fool!
