Inspired by Dowbocop's love of the new Brentford away top, I thought it might be a fun topic to post pictures of the worst ever sports team kits.

Rather than just restrict it to football or to current kits, feel free to find examples from other sports or other eras.

The offending Brenford top is below.

British ice hockey Christmas shirts always look naff to me. It's hard for a team to look serious and dangerous when they're wearing something like this:

This 90s Hull City shirt is appalling.

Coventry City's 1981 Talbot-sponsored kit was incredible. Even the shorts were involved.

Spoilered for massive:

strawberry float yes, some of the recent Panthers one's have been ridiculous. But, they are designed by the fans so maybe you can't expect much if it's been knocked up in MS Paint.

This Forest one was a particular 'highlight'

Ice hockey seems to love having horrible jerseys. Check out this abomination from the St Louis Blues. :lol:

I see your St Louis Blues and raise you not one but two Spongebob kits in the same game.

Two more from Scottish football for you. First off probably the worst Celtic kit of all time;

And then this, from Dundee. I can't even find the words to describe how vile this kit is.

Worst Blackburn top I can find is this:

Arsenal's infamous "Wimbledon Ballboy" away kit from the 80s was quite something.

I absolutely adore it, but I know a lot of people find the Bristol City purple and lime kit to be an example of an ugly kit and so I am getting in before anybody else posts it. ;)

The original 90s version:

I've got an example like that too, Moggy. I love Arsenal's 1991 away kit:

Just brilliant :wub: .

The Mercedes F1 outfit looks difficult to work with, but Hamilton has been succesful so it must work in the car.
