I once ate one of those petrol station sized bags of the red liquorice all sorts in one sitting, and I'm pretty sure I could see through time after.

Trebor Extra Strong Mints wearing a face mask is a bit of an experience if they catch your eyes right

There was a story a while back about somebody getting organ failure or something horrific like that, from eating too much liquorice.

A construction worker in the US state of Massachusetts was killed by his liquorice habit, doctors say.

The man, who has not been named but was 54 years old, ate about one-and-a-half bags of black liquorice every day.

He had suffered no symptoms before suddenly going into cardiac arrest in a fast food restaurant.

…studies had shown glycyrrhizic acid - the active ingredient in liquorice - could cause "hypertension, hypokalemia, metabolic alkalosis, fatal arrhythmias, and renal failure" - all of which were seen in this patient.

I really enjoy salty liquourice. I have to buy it from an import shop in London called Scandikitchen.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Liquorice is awful.

Basically this. I don't mind the odd allsort but generally it's a pass.

Turkish Delight is awesome when it's the good expensive gooey in the middle stuff (although I do like a fry chocolate Turkish Delight, and the thins you get at Christmas), the cubes you get around Christmas are usually like rubber and just all kinds of gooseberry fool.

I'm kind of fine with constant winter, I like snow and I'm not a great fan of hot weather, so personally the white witcb doesn't seem all that bad.

I think most of the usual suspects have been mentioned already so I'll just throw this little grenade in:

Salted caramel can get in the strawberry floating bin.

I'm not saying it's the worst thing, but everyone seems to have become strawberry floating obsessed with it recently - it seems to be everywhere, and it's not actually very nice! Caramel is great, why the strawberry float would I want salt added to it? You took an excellent thing and made it worse by adding something crap to it, well done!

That's like saying: "Hey we've developed a fantastic new product! Everyone likes chocolate right? So say hello to 'Shitted Chocolate'!!!"

Most of it is gooseberry fool, but good salted caramel is epic, the salt brings out so much more flavour than just "sweet".
