- Finding mouse droppings in a bowl of rice krispies I had almost finished eating
- Being stuck in a room with an extremely large and angry hornet
- nearly getting my balls destroyed by the back wheel of a bike (I was around 11 and still able to ride it, went down a kerb and the saddle broke, tipping me backwards so I landed bollocks first on the back wheel and nearly got them stuck in the brake mechanism - fortunately I wasn't going fast enough to do any lasting damage).
