Worst thing you've ever seen IRL

A pancaked dog. The fur flattened and stuck to the road and huge chunks of meat and bones lying all over the place, like you'd see in a butchers. A lorry must have hit it to do that amount of dismemberment. It was horrible.

When I worked at Weatherspoons I watched a three men repeatedly throw bottles, glasses, tables and chairs into a guys face. It was horrible.

I saw someone get a chunk of their ear bitten off during a fight at a pub I worked at in Uni

When I was 12 I saw an old woman get hit by an Austin Metro. I'll never forget the image of her lying on the road, blood coming out of her mouth as she tried to breathe.

Was in a queue for a nightclub in the south side of glasgow in 2008 when a massive fight broke out on the street. Lots of opportunist cheap shots and people seemingly brawling for no particular reason. This one lad, probably only 18 tries to score a cheap punch from behind on one of the biggest guys. Saw what he was planning to do, he ran up from behind and jumped high striking down hard on the bigger guy’s head, a real dick move.

The road was on a gentle slope though and he landed awkwardly, stumbling backwards a few steps before going down on his back. Before he had time to react someone dealt a much more successful version of the same move, in the air with a raised knee, landing their full body weight through one stamped foot on the young guy’s face. He didn’t move after that. The place went nuts and they closed the nightclub so I went home.

I think the guy survived but ended up with massive brain damage if I remember correctly.

You all should meet my ex wife. The gooseberry fool she deals out on me is very inhuman. She acts like I’m the one who left her in the lurch with four kids (she dumped me.) or behaving like I had a bloody affair (I didn’t btw.)

Lately she’s blocked me from seeing my kids, reported to the social workers for “abuse” (and don’t worry, the social workers cleared me.) whilst dating a guy who was found guilty of assaulting children.

And that’s just the recent developments. The amount of gooseberry fool she has dished over the last 7 years is unbelievable.

Anyway the matter is in my lawyers’ hands. If it wasn’t for my current girlfriend of 5 years, I would be a bloody nervous wreck.

The horrors that my mates and GF has witnessed from my exwife on me has left them staggering.

I've washed maggots out of someone ankles who was still very much alive.

Not particularly gruesome but every time I've had a pet put to sleep. I make a point of staying with them right to the end, it's only right since they've been with me for so long and helped me through some rough times. I was heart broken when I lost my favourite ferret, he was such a gentle soul and a bit of a clown, seeing the life just leave him was awful. The worst was in a 4 month period where I had to have 4 ferrets put to sleep, that was brutal. I loved owning ferrets but losing so many all at once as well as losing my favourite put me off owning pets. I did foster during the various lockdowns and that was pretty rewarding.

My beloved cat Snowy with his eyeball hanging out(Glen Rhee style) after some prick run her over.

I'm fact no, the worst thing was seeing my wee boy in hospital having split his head open on a coffee table. He was fine though and has a cool Harry Potter scar now. Also,my wee girl wouldn't wait for me to drive her mum to hospital to give birth. So I had to deliver her and the first 10 seconds or so she wasn't breathing so that was pretty bad. My memory does its best to forget stuff like that.

The decomposed ones are from working in social housing. Rent hasn't been paid for months, calls not answered, tenant absconded. I'd get sent in for lock change and clearance. You can smell it, it's very specific and you know. Maggots,lots of maggots and leakage.
Surprising how long people can go unnoticed.

The weirdest one was a guy who complained his bathroom light wasn't working. I took the cover off and maggots started dropping onto the floor.
The girl in the flat above had fallen in the bathroom drunk and died on the floor.
I remember thinking "These are her maggot babies".

Crashes, mostly due to the amount of travel I've done. A guy in a box van with huge frizzy hair hanging out of the passenger side . There wasn't a drivers side anymore.
Dangerous game being on the roads.

I had a semi permanent sore on my ankle for a few years that kept healing then reopening, never had strawberry floating maggots in it though.

Once had an alergic reaction to a dresing on my side which made a large square of skin fall off, it then looked like Freddy Kruegers face, that wasn't great.
