X box One Noob Questions

Got an xbox one s with two controllers today.

Set it up, redeem game pass etc.

Added Ryse, Dead Rising 3 at the moment from Gamepass...

The download speeds seems slow as hell compared to the PS4 (both wireless) so I decided to put it to sleep... but can’t find it. So put on “instant on” option.

Does it even stilll download in that mode?

Also I’m looking at Alan Wake (360) but it wouldn’t display price. Entered password but it comes up not available in my region. Can’t find an option on the Xbox website for the full game. I’m sure there was a digital version of the full game before or am I imagining things?

Yeah it will download in instant on. You can also push games at it in that mode too.

There's no sleep mode like PS4 unfortunately. "Instant on" will kind of get what you want there.

Alan Wake isn't available to buy digitally anymore which is why you can't purchase it (not available in the region). That method is how you buy 360 stuff on Xbox One though so you did the right thing even though it feels weird compared to buying Xbox One content.

If you want to play Alan Wake you could try getting a physical copy of the game, or a new physical copy of Quantum Break which should have a DL code for Alan Wake and it's DLC.

Cheers.

Might as well look for a copy of Alan Wake seeing that Quantum Break is on Game Pass.
