I watched the first 2 episodes last week and it's just like old times. Great writing, music and the feel is spot on. I'll be catching up tonight on the latest 2 and i especially can't wait for the 3rd one.

Bit of a spooky episode this week. Some great stuff from Gillian Anderson, as well. That resolution to the MOTW story was sure interesting, though.

The final two episodes are both written by Chris Carter so I guess we can expect a return to the main arc.

Rhys Darby was absolutely brilliant in episode 3 ,this was classic comedy x files with duchovny and Anderson putting in some great comedy acting. Also oh my Gillian Anderson ,she's still sexy as ever :D

That Mulder scene was brilliant. I thought it was another really solid episode, other than the fact there wasn't much of an X-File.

They also hinted at some conspiracy stuff with the arabic speaking FBI agents trying to clear the hospital, but it was ignored and never came back up again.

Maybe it's because I had such low expectations going into a Carter episode but that was pretty great.

The hallucination scene  Felt like I was watching Californication for a bit. Loved the cameos.

Lauren Ambrose, though.

Ep 6: That was clearly half of a 2-parter episode. :fp: Not just because of the cliffhanger, but nothing in the episode was resolved. It was good though.

There better be another season, and soon!

Well that was a pretty incoherent mess, as expected.

We got some good MOTW episodes out of the season which was all I was realistically hoping for so I'm happy. Hopefully we'll get another season.

There HAS to be another season after that cocktease! I enjoyed the episode even if it was a little rushed and CLEARLY part 1 of an arc.

I have to assume Chris Carter was told in advance that FOX was going to order a season 11 because that was not an ending.

I liked the season overall though and would watch more.

So... just watched the last episode yesterday evening. Really enjoyed the series as a whole but the last episode was a disappointment. Despite the fact that a global disaster was about to happen, it had no suspense at all. It was just boring.

Well at least it was in line with the X-Files tradition of ending a season with a cliffhanger in the 'main storyline'.

Last episode on tonight for us peeps that haven't seen it, if it's a good cliffhanger as season 2 or season 8 finale, I'll be satisfied

Good episode and a great series. I love how they've kept the writing and cinematography in step with the old shows.

I hope we don't have to wait 10 years for a resolution to that cliffhanger.

I forgot to post in here but yep finished watching them all last week. I enjoyed every single episode but actually as always i enjoyed the random ones rather than the first and last serious ones in this series. I've always been like that and i'm the same even with supernatural which does a similar thing of main plotline and then random monster episodes and comedy.

Last night's episode was an improvement on the episodes that preceded it which were truly terrible. The whole season has been so disappointing, with both Mulder and Scully spouting out-there theories and coming across as bonkers, irritating new agents and plots which made the series a parody of itself.
