Pretty sure everything after season 8 has been reset including the return of CSM and TLG as well as Mulder and Scully not being a couple any more.

Channel 5 have the rights for this in the UK http://www.theguardian.com/media/2015/d ... b-gdnmedia No mention when they'll start showing it.

Wait Mulder and Scully were a couple! 
I am gonna have to re-watch the first 5 seasons then.
Excited for the return. BBC2 Thursday nights at 9pm were the best time in the 90's so kinda sad it not back on there. However I'll be downloading it asap if they treat the same way they treat Gotham!

They were only a couple in two episodes IIRC. The season 8 finale was when they got together (and the true ending of the show IMO) and then Mulder disappeared until the series finale at the end of season 9. There's also the 2nd movie but let's just forget that ever happened.
