In an emailer sent out to Xbox.com members, Microsoft said: "E3 is the world's largest gaming show, and the place where we make the BIG announcements about what's coming up on Xbox. With the massive Project Natal announcement at last year's event, you'd think we'd find it hard to top that. Well, think again.
"This year at E3 we've got even BIGGER announcements to share with you."

Consider the rumor of the Xbox Slim as news. In fact, consider it a fact that the new model will have wi-fi inside (at last) and a 250hdd (99% sure abt this) .
Oh, and one of Natal's games is a... pet simulation
I genuinely hope this is true. I've been waiting to replace my launch console for a while now. If Rare's doing the pet simulation, they'll have to make it a lot easier to get into and less stressful than Viva Piñata if they're going to appeal to a casual audience. I'm still mixed on NATAL, but if they manage to have it included with the Slim console at a reasonable price I'm there.
I think in the lead up to E3 we've seen Sony drop a fair few stuff early, in an attempt to defuse Microsoft's E3 (We've seen Move announced to hit earlier than NATAL, they've quite surprisingly rolled 3D out a week before E3, when all indications were that this was expected from Sony at E3, and expected as one of Microsoft's surprises at E3). Sony are being quite aggressive, more so than they've ever been before with Microsoft, so it will be interesting to see how the always aggressive Microsoft will react at E3. Certainly if Microsoft have an 'embarrassment of riches' this year, I doubt they'll decide to hold anything back this time.
It's genuinely nice to see Sony being far more aggressive and reactive.
