Isnt there talk of it getting a long gameplay demo at some point in E3.

Given that conference not showing gameplay of Cyberpunk seems like a good decision.

You are a man of eternal surprises.

First party was underwhelming, but overall wow what a show, thoroughly enjoyed that.

And that ending with Phil being cut out, amazing.

Overall a super clean show. Acquiring Ninja Theory took me by surprise most.

A great showing from Microsoft this year but I will sum it up like this: great trailers, not enough gameplay. A solid 10-15 minute gameplay demo for Cyberpunk would've really made it a hard act to follow.

For MS.

Not impressed by Cyberpunk closing because it was just a cinematic cutscene. Had that been a reveal announcement, or a cinematic / cutscene with 'coming late 2018' then I'd be hyped. But a cinematic cutscene? PFFT.

I think I'm just coming down off Cyberpunk. It was a good, good show. I would have liked some more content beside the trailers but it was infinitely better than last year's

I know what you mean, but it was definitely in engine and not a cinematic

A varied conference that had something for everyone, I think. Forza Horizon might influence a few Brits who were on the fence, but I can’t see anything else there that would make the unconverted pop down to Curry’s tomorrow morning to pick up an Xbox.

Forza looked great, Ori looked enchanting, Gears looked really good. But the only surprise for me was the purchase of Ninja Theory and that some of their previous exclusives are now only timed, not great MS. Phil's comment, at the end, about the XB being the only place to play the best games grated a bit.

That was fantastic, but like others are saying... reasons to buy an Xbox? Well, Halo Infinite, Gears 5 and Forza Horizon 4 for sure. I think FH4 and Sea of Thieves make me want to get one sooner rather than later but buying the One X in particular is a large chunk of change for such a small list of exclusives.

Yep.

He's right about Forza Horizon 4 as well. Being able to race on a lake that's frozen that you couldn't race on before due to changing seasons. That's a brilliantly simple yet ace idea.

thing is if you have a decent PC an Xbox is kinda irrelevant still.

Main character in that cinematic felt extremely generic. Like a parody of other xbox game characters. Maybe the tone will be more upbeat less serious? But I want something more bladerunner in tone. Would suit their style more considering the witcher games.

I really enjoyed that. Tons of games.... tons!

My personal highlights were Fallout 76, Metro Exodus, Forza Horizons 4, The Division 2, Devil May Cry 5, Just Cause 4 and Cyberpunk 2077 (what a way to end!). Stunning - I'd love to get those titles!

Oh! And I'm not into fighting games but, dang, Jump Force looked cool - and features Death Note's Ryuk  :toot: .

A cracking show; I'd give it a very solid 8/10.

I think I echo what others have said there was a lot of good there, but nothing that makes me think the Xbox is in a great place for exclusives still.

One good thing is if you fancy buying an Xbox One X you could theoretically play much of what the machine has to offer for about the price of 1 game with Game Pass.

OK conference, nothing mind blowing. Lots of confusion as to what is a console exclusive apart from the usual Microsoft stuff. 6/10

It really is ridiculous value. But, there's the problem of game ownershio. Pros and cons.
