Halo MP being in esportz doesn't change the fact I enjoy Destiny PvP more and I was just specifically comparing Destiny 1 and 2 to Halo 4 and 5 for obvious reasons. Shocked you two prefer Halo

Too much grind in Destiny.

I really liked Halo 4’s mp and I know I’m in the minority but c’mon, Destiny vs Mp better than Halo 5’s is laughable.

A lot of big names at the Xbox briefing this year, bit of a turnaround from last year. I get the feeling though that they only got it to be like that because Sony is doing a 4 game showcase this time around.

Some alright looking stuff, lots of reveals, not much unexpected though. Interested to hear what Playground's other open world game might be - are they branching out into adventures?

Forza actually looked alright. Nice to see the UK get the spotlight for once. Might look into that eventually.

Strongly rumoured they're doing Fable Reboot.

Eurogamer confirmed afaik.

Anyway, 2019 looks stuffed with games.

Anthem, Crackdown 3, Days Gone and metro exodus are all out on 22nd of Feb. :fp:

I get the feeling that at least one of those games will slip from that date.

The biggest take away from last nights conference is that MS have thrown their support behind the Xbox team. Buying up 5 studio's (Playground has 2) and setting up a 6th for first party titles is quite the commitment.

It bodes well for Xbox 2, if you think about it, Fable 4 and Forza Horizon 5 could be launch titles and who knows what the other studio's will be working on. Undead Labs next game will get a sh*t ton of QA before release and maybe some triple A sheen. Ninja Theory will get the budget to truly create something without fear of it having to be a hit to keep the studio alive as they stated in their video as to why they joined.

If all of those first parties go on to gamepass as has been promised then it's going to be even more value for money than it already is, ridiculous value for money really.

Random thought that just came to me:

+2 points to MS for not giving any more air time to that homophobe strawberry float's cyberpunk game.

There, that's the Microsoft show sorted out for you. Maybe an exclusive they've paid too much for that will turn out to be underwhelming, like Quantum Break or Sunset Overdrive.

Looks like I was right again.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

It's not shame. It was a game set in a world where 'feminism won' and was a gamergater's vision of a dystopia where equality between the sexes was achieved.

strawberry float that game.

Game looks nice, guy making it has somewhat dubious views.

The Last Night. Pixelart adventuregame trailered by MS last year. It immediately came out that the one man dev was an ardent GGer and the game was an expansion of a GameJam game of his that was based on libertarian, mens-rights viewpoints.

We had a large debate last year about the separation of author and creation, but when the game is specifically based on his abhorrent views that argument collapses. In my opinion.

I’m guessing they save the Fable 4 reveal for Gamescom? Makes sense I guess, last night was packed with stuff
