xbox 360 - 4 red rings?

what do i do, everything is connected correctly, the only thing i could see that may pose a problem is the fact that some of the outer cable of the av cable has come lose, but the inside bits seem fine and it has worked like that for ages. Can i take it back to game even though i bought the xbox there about 2 years ago

Just get a new AV cable.

If your cable looks strawberry floated and as the 4 red lights indicate AV cable issues then isn't the problem totally obvious :roll:
