I think it looks ok. I like monolithic black boxes though.

I like it too. Little elements form all the xboxes so far.

I like it, size of console doesn't bother me and hopefully means it has plenty of airflow which is more important. This is for your main entertainment centre not a kids bedroom so I'm happy with the look.

Sony did well keeping it simple. This is just a total joke.

But we don't know what the PS4 looks like. People might confuse it with the PS3.

The rear angle shows a 12cm top fan by the looks of it.

I quite like it. I like boxy stuff, it makes it easier to line things up all square and stuff.

It doesn't appear to have a ring.

I have nowhere to put that gigantic Kinect. That was the one thing I hoped wouldn't be required and it is. I strawberry floating hate Kinect and voice control, piss off.

So far, unimpressed.

No sure how that monolithic kinnect 2 will be able to balance on the top of my flat screen TV.

The kinnect 2 better have a much shorter/closer range than the first one, otherwise its going to be a disaster.

Best way to guarantee no red ring issues.

It has a widerangle lenses and uses different ways to view so in suspect it will, I would also imagine its quite light.

I suspect the 15 new games, existing franchise ones will be:

Kinect Sports 3
Halo 5
Fable 4
Forza 5

From RARE, one of: Viva Pinata 3, Kameo 2, Perfect Dark 2 (all longshots but never know - one game played in background in video looked a bit Kameo-esque to me..)

Probably also either one or more of Crackdown, PGR5 and maybe after the EA partnership, some sort of exclusive Star Wars title - either Kinect Star Wars 2 or a KOTOR3 (unlikely but you never know.. Bioware and MS have been cosy in the past and KOTOR 1&2 were Xbox exclusive..)

Now we know why EA has abandoned it's online pass. I wouldn't be surprised if Sony are taking that route also. Bah.

It looks like my Humax Freesat box.

Not that I care. I just got back from Leipzig so I'm playing catch up.

I don't think I've missed too much. No specs mentioned then?

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

I thought it was alright to be honest. To be fair they did say they we're showing games until E3, what the strawberry float were people expecting? :fp:

Definitely rather have a snappy hour long conference than the 5 hour durge Sony served us. Would have been nice to see some actual gameplay but ah well.

In saying that the console and controller are utterly horrific. Design has never been Microsoft's strong point but this is definitely one of their worst.

Paywall confirmed for pre-owned games.

So what about playing pre-owned games offline, how can the console tell it's pre-owned?

Online database check is pretty obvious.

This console will need an internet connection.

Probably like 360 where a licence is tied to the console as well.

Looks aren't everything.

It's what's on the inside that counts.

But if you put the disc into an Xbox One not connected to the internet, how can it be blocked?
