I think it'll be 1080/60 if they do it like Fallout 4/76 (which to be fair are pretty locked 60 and it is optional - personally ill take the framerate over resolution)

Yeah that seems the most likely course

This game on the OG XB1 is an experience. The game rarely hits 30fps a lot of the time.

It's still excellent, especially playing as Emily, but this is one of the titles I'm looking forward to revisiting when I get a Series X. A more stable framerate would drastically change my experience with it.

I’m having a great time with Dishonoured, but I can only imagine what a slog it must have been with the original load times. The amount of games that would feel “next gen” with just FPS boost and improved load times is huge.

Yeah, totally get that.

There are no big jumps like to 3D between gens any more, but this just feels like I couldn't go back. Hard to understand till you've tried it.

To be fair Dishonored’s load times differences are a huge leap over previous gen, it’s probably the only game I’ve played that has such a vast change. Wasteland 3 has really long load times that have remained even on the SSD.

Yeah getting a PS4 after being PC only since around 2010 was a real eye opener for me in terms of how the last gen really suffered on console. The load times are absolutely ridiculous on pretty much every game

Looking forward to finding out which games, and also hoping they add some new games into the mix, like from the original xbox era.

I'm sure they are working on additional new BC game as well as these FPS boost ones but I imagine these upgrades for games which are already on the system/service are an easier thing to achieve than getting all new games added

It's in their interest to build the library up further, but I suspect only for titles they can actually sell digitally. I would love PGR 1-4 plus JSRF, but doubt that will happen. A 60fps update for RDR would be nice, as well as a 4K update for GTA 4.

I far prefer 60fps upgrades over resolution, I can barely play anything at 30 now. :fp:

60fps has made a big difference for sure, but certain 30fps games are still pretty good. I hope microsoft boosts a lot of the 30fps game pass games.
