Not yet. And I want to get FH5 seasonal stuff done first. Really keen to see if they’re as good as I remember them, though.

more heat than light wrote:Really disappointed this is the final list. There are so many more games left, and plenty without any licensing issues.

I can’t see why something like Broken Sword 3 for example wouldn’t work on the Series.

A lot of great games added to the list though, which is more than Sony have bothered with for PS2.

Would have loved to have seen Burnout 3 on BC to join Burnout Revenge. Still such an awesome game

Can anyone remember if Ridge Racer 6 (360) and 7 (PS3) were the same game?

How does it control?

I found going back to that era of GoldenEye-esque FPS games to be quite twitch, relying on a degree of accuracy not really found in modern games. It doesn't help that the human targets tend to be quite spindly and tricky to hit too.

If I recall I remember the controls being quite floaty, as if you were gliding more than anything.

The campaign was good but it really was all about the 4x multiplayer (even if on PS2 it always required one of us to remember the multitap). I don’t know if the game supports widescreen but having the additional screen real estate these days sure would be great.

I always had the impression they were essentially the same, but with 7 having some extra stuff added. I never played 7, though, so can’t be sure.

It has that thing I’ve never liked where it auto centres your aim down sights view. Always loved the objective based campaign though. It’s just pretty sparse at giving you checkpoints.

Why are all the BC games I want to play behind licensing issues? :x :( I just want one from Jade Empire, PGR2, Outrun 2006 and Eternal Sonata.

Guys, you're in luck - Digital Foundry have just recently released this look at the "newer" Ridge Racers and it includes analysis of both RR6 and 7. It looks to be a pretty cool vid; I'm gonna check it out myself tonight.
