I suppose a lot of former 360 owners might care, but there's 2 examples already - Psykes and Steve - who flogged the lot off ages ago anyway.

Huge.... maybe not, but I've downloaded 11 Arcade titles so far.

Anyway, must dash.. got me some Geometry Wars Retro Evolved to play

Do we know if 360 "Games with Gold" titles will carry over? I stupidly stopped adding them to my profile when I got rid of the 360 but I have a fair few that I "own".

Few people on my friends list playing BC titled already. Looking forward to using it tonight.

This has me slightly tempted by an Xbox one, but the reality is I don't have time to play all the new games, never-mind replaying my old back catalogue. If I buy an Xbox one now, I'll have exclusive titles to smash through.

For me, the horse has bolted, but for those who are thinking of upgrading from a 360 it is something to think about.... But there is a huge catalogue of new games that they should prioritise. I'm not sure how much BC counts for now, especially given all the remasters.

I think this is a good summary why for some this will make little difference. There is now a large selection of next gen games available and apart from very few people, no one has time for so many games (this and last gen). As an example, I've not played a game on my PS3 for ages, even though every month I get new PS3 games through PSN that I've never played. People in general don't but a console to play last gen games, just like when you buy a Bluray player a major factor in your decision was not that you could watch DVDs on it. If you are planning on buying an XBO then this is a nice feature to have, but I doubt there will be many where this suddenly makes the difference between buying and not buying.

Yes?

I can't see why not.

All your 360 info & saves come over even if you didn't set up Cloud Saving on the 360. Witchcraft!!

This is a pretty big feature for me, I have a big library of 360 games, 130+ physical, no idea how many digital, so being able to carry them over to next gen is a big selling point. Im still going to wait and see how well they implement it though, as has been mentioned in here the BC feature of the 360 was spotty at best.

That's what someone on GAF says and nobody seems to be disagreeing with him. Maybe someone can check.

Any chance of anyone recommending me to get on the preview programme? Really want to try this new feature out...

I'm downloading Banjo, Defense Grid and Perfect Dark, 3 XBLA titles, I presume gold games are good to go cos on 360 they were games to keep for good not just for subscription.

Saves do carry over, just like if you get a new 360, via the cloud.

Can happily confirm that GWG games work just fine. VP: Trouble In Paradise is one such game and is now downloading to my Xbox One.

So, how does one get on the Preview Program? I keep meaning to investigate, and this seems an ideal time to me.

You need to have a code, or someone currently in the program needs to invite you. Then a couple of weeks later you get a message through with details of how to sign up.

If anyone wants an invite send me a message with their GamerTag, I'm happy to oblige. :)

You can buy 360 games from Xbox.com if you don't have your Xbox 360 anymore such as Hexic for free - http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Produ ... noSplash=1

Some games being improved? -

For people asking if there are any improvements, here is my experience with Viva Pinata:

It took forever to install. Really - a hell of a long time but the wait may well have felt longer because of my anticipation.
As expected, once installed it loads completely from the HDD - there was no noise from the disc tray. I did not try loading without the disc though. I'd be interested to know if you need the disc in the tray.
The load times were significantly decreased.
This may well be my eyes playing tricks on me but the game looked bigger, sharper and brighter than ever before. This is not a repeat of the lame Xbox OG > 360 emulation. It looks great!
I remember having some framerate issues on my 360 with Pinata. They were gone. I will play more later though and poulate the garden - just to give it a good test.

Kameo isn't showing up for me although I definitely own it.

Anyone else reporting missing games?

Do you own digital copy? cos I think you need the disc to run it if you dont.

Strange, according to Xbox I don't. But I have it installed on my 360 and I'm sure I never had a physical copy of it.

Well, all of them are digital. \o/

Also, it doesn't say it in the thread title, but in the OP quote it says that download games are included as well, so if you have any download games, they'll carry over. :)
