Handy for trying out games before committing storage space to them, too.

There's a Black Friday sale on the store, but it's pretty much the exact same sale they always put on.

It’s AWESOME! GP games you don’t have downloaded have a cloud icon and you can jump right in.

I tried Xcloud for the first time today and I probably will not stop going on about it from now on because it impressed me so much

Is the Xbox Insider programme currently worth signing up for?

Not if you want to encounter bugs and sound issues it's not...

Noticed today in the shops that Shredded Wheat are giving away 1000s of Xbox Series S consoles. Nice to have a promo on something healthy for a change.

I only glanced at it but by the looks of it you’ve also got to do a puzzle on the back first. I doubt it’s that difficult…

I've only just realised that, since stopping playing CoD Vanguard, other games haven't caused the SX pad to rumble to the point I can hear its motors. So maybe it was just Vanguard that made the rumble seem awful...

Another couple of negatives crossed off the list: sharing images to Xbox Network (or whatever it's called) as you take them uploads them in the background. And then from the mob app, after downloading the images to the phone, I can share multiple screens per tweet. Not as streamlined as it could be, but it's a much better option than sitting and waiting for tweets to upload before being allowed back on to a game.

EDIT: Ugh. Spoke too soon. Played something last night which only just lightly activates the rumble and yet I could *hear* the motors again.

If Solar Ash releases when it's supposed to (early December), it's what I'll be playing next on my PS5.

Grim Dawn finally hitting Xbox on December 3rd. No word of Game Pass, but it's available for pre-order now.

I remember hearing about it years ago after being blown away by Diablo 3. But I was mad jelly because there was no news of a PS4 version  Can't believe they've only just gotten around to releasing it on Xbox.

Oh! It seems that the Xbox fridge may run pretty loud... not sure how common this opinion is, though.

Some more **minor** additions I'd like to see to Xbox capture options: taking screenshots outside of games, and allowing to capture the "splash page" of a game. (The art we see when first loading up a game.)

Crazy to think that I am playing Hades for the... 10th+ time on SX, but this is only the second time I have seen the save file select screen :slol: For a moment I was genuinely confused what I was looking at. (The game had to reload bc I'd played it on PC, so it needed to update the file and so restarted itself.)

I suspect this is an issue most people have with cheap small fridges in bedrooms, games room, etc.

Is there any way to view your captured images in their HDR format rather than viewing the SDR image first and then choosing “view HDR capture” at the top of the screen? It seems like an annoying extra step, plus you have to load the image twice.

Nothing matches that description in the capture settings.
